Come, let us worship and bow down before God our King.
Come, let us worship and bow down before Christ God our King.
Come, let us worship and bow down before Him, Christ our King and God.
Psalm 55 (56)
Be merciful to me, O God, for man would swallow me up; Fighting all day he oppresses me. My enemies would hound me all day, For there are many who fight against me, O Most High. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? All day they twist my words; All their thoughts are against me for evil. They gather together, They hide, they mark my steps, When they lie in wait for my life. Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, O God! You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book? When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me. In God (I will praise His word), In the Lord (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God; I will render praises to You, For You have delivered my soul from death. Have You not kept my feet from falling, That I may walk before God In the light of the living?
Psalm 56 (57)
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by. I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me. He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah God shall send forth His mercy and His truth. My soul is among lions; I lie among the sons of men Who are set on fire, Whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth. They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down; They have dug a pit before me; Into the midst of it they themselves have fallen. Selah My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. Awake, my glory! Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations. For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.
Psalm 69 (70)
Make haste, O God, to deliver me! Make haste to help me, O Lord! Let them be ashamed and confounded Who seek my life; Let them be turned back and confused Who desire my hurt. Let them be turned back because of their shame, Who say, "Aha, aha!" Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, "Let God be magnified!" But I am poor and needy; Make haste to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay.

Troparia
The God of our fathers, who always acts with us according to Your gentleness, do not turn Your mercy away from us, but by their supplications, govern our life in peace.
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Your Martyrs, O Lord, in their struggle, received crowns of incorruption from You, our God; for having taken Your strength, they overthrew the tyrants, and broke the powerless audacity of demons. By their supplications, O Christ God, save our souls.
Both now and ever and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Unconquerable wall of us Christians, you exist, oh Mother of God Virgin; for to you fleeing, we remain unharmed, and again sinning, we cry to you: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
Lord, have mercy(40)
O Christ our God, who at all times and at every hour, both in heaven and on earth, are worshipped and glorified, long suffering and plenteous in mercy and compassion; who love the just and show mercy to the sinners; who call all men to salvation through the promise of the blessings to come: Do You, the same Lord, receive also our supplications at this present time, and direct our lives according to Your commandments. Sanctify our souls; purify our bodies; set our minds right; clear up our thoughts, and deliver us from every sorrow, evil and distress. Surround us with Your holy Angels so that being guarded and guided by their presence, we may arrive at the unity of the faith and the knowledge of Your ineffable glory; for blessed are You unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Lord, have mercy(3)
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Both now and ever and to the ages of ages. Amen.
More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim; who without corruption gavest birth to God the Word, the very Theotokos, thee do we magnify.
In the name of the Lord, Father bless.
Priest: May God have compassion on us and bless us; may his face shine upon us and have mercy on us.
Amen.
And we make the three great prostrations, then, with each, we say one verse of the Prayer of Saint Ephraim.
O Lord and Master of my life, do not permit the spirit of laziness and meddling, the lust for power and idle talk to come into me.
Instead, grant me, Your servant, the spirit of prudence, humility, patience and love.
Yes, Lord and King, give me the power to see my own faults and not to judge my brother. For You are blessed unto the ages of ages. Amen.
And after these, twelve other small ones, saying with each,God, be merciful to me, a sinner, and have mercy on me and again great prostration, and the last verse of the above Prayer.
Yes, Lord and King, give me the power to see my own faults and not to judge my brother. For You are blessed unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Lord, our God, who has given Your peace to men, and sent the gift of the Holy Spirit to Your Disciples and Apostles, and opened their lips with tongues of fire by Your power, open also the lips of us sinners, and teach us how we ought, and for whom we must pray. Guide our life, O calm harbor of those in distress, and show us the way in which we should go. Immediately renew in our innermost being a Spirit, and support with a guiding Spirit that which is slippery in our understanding, so that each day, being led by Your good Spirit toward what is beneficial, we may be deemed worthy to do Your commandments, and to always remember Your glorious and investigative presence in the deeds of men, and not to be deceived by the pleasures of this passing world, but strengthen us to aspire to the enjoyment of the future treasures, for You exist blessed and praiseworthy in all Your Saints, forever and ever. Amen.
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Both now and ever and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Lord, have mercy(3)
